There are a myriad of things that can incite someone to go out and do something: love and passion, revenge, the voice of God in your head.... For me, it's usually boredom basted with a hint of "what if I do that?".

Somewhere in the middle of the night I was just doodling and asked myself "what if I take a sublime piece of art by a master like René Magritte and try to recreate it using my crappy style?".

A bit later and after much wasted effort, this piece came up. Not happy with it, but it was fun to do. Maybe I'll do something more later.

You mean what I said about apples and bowler hats were actually TRUE???

But that actually looks good. Bravo. Now go do something original already.

Bah, originality is overrated! Now I'm just busy getting rid of impulses. I'll do something original later! Maybe! Only if you're good!
