The end is here...

Well, it's finally happened. PC (political correctness) is back. If you haven't been keeping up with the news, and you should have, they have decided to make the Sesame Street Cookie Monster the poster boy for gluttonal restraint. That's right; some people think that CM has been sending the wrong message with his cookie snarfing act and telling kids that it's okay to stuff their faces and become obese. Everything that was once holy is now covered in a steaming pile of poop. I can even imagine how they probably got Old CM to cave and stop eating cookies:

Cookie Monster: Me want cookie
Room 101 Officer: No you don't *whack*. Turn on the electricity
Cookie Monster: Aieeee. Nipples burn!
Officer: Let's try that again. What do you want?
CM: Cookie?
Officer: *Whacks CM on the side of the head*. No you buffoon. Turn on the electricity.
CM: Aieeeeeeeee
Officer: Try again.
CM: Me no want cookie now.
Officer: Good. Very good...
CM *whimper*

What next? Are they going to make Oscar the Grouch not live in a trash can because it encourages children to think that living like a bum is admirable? Are they going to make him comb his hair? IS NOTHING SACRED? My childhood is dead.
