Blog update unleashed! Rumoku goes to America...

...n Embassy. And lemme tell ya, it wasn't a pretty sight. There were PEOPLE all over the place. The lobby of the embassy was packed with these people clamoring to get to America. Sheesh, couldn't they at least wait until I had my turn at the counter first? Anyway, after 3 hours of waiting (yes, I have the patience of Moses (Golden Boy joke...)) I finally got my visa approved without too much hassle. It was kinda anti-climatic really. There I was, ready to defend my decision to go to America tooth and nail regardless of what the immigration officer thought when she suddenly said "Ok, everything looks good. Come back Monday to get your visa".

"That's it?" I asked
"That's it," she said
"Oh," I said, rather crestfallen.

I feel cheated.
