The after the last post....

It's more like a mini post. I couldn't really resist. Just wanted everyone to know that I'm finally on my trip to the US of A. I'm currently writing this from Singapore, Changi Airport. I must say, this place is pretty cool. Don't really have much to say right now beyond the fact that this all seems very surreal. It's not really registering that I'm leaving everything behind to go to a place that is wholly unfamiliar to me without the comfort of family to ease the passage. Like I said, surreal. Not even particularly excited, just really tired. And annoyed. My family members gave me tonnes of last minute items. My backpack used to weigh a comfortable 5 kilos. Now I'm lugging 15 kilos around and feeling pretty daft to boot. Oh well...
