Rumoku goes gold...100 posts!
Wow. I never thought that I would actually get this far. 100 posts seems like such a big number. Granted, most of the posts were kinda stupid, worthless and borderline insane but still...it's something that needs to be admired. Well, in my case anyway. I've never been the sort to stick to anything for very long. The fact that I'm still blogging is nothing short of a miracle. Anyway, here's to a hundred more (crosses fingers).
Anyway, yesterday I ended up in KL for no apparent reason. Class finished early and my friend Fizar (not real name) said: "Hey, let's go to KL!"
I said: "What, right now?"
and he said: "Yeah, I need to get drunk right now"
and I said: "Sure. I don't have anything to do anyway"...
So we gathered up the rag tag group of the usual suspects and headed off into the sunset. Less than an hour later I was in the KLCC and wondering what the heck I was doing there in the first place. I mean, I didn't really have a reason to be there!
Fortunately, KLCC has a well stocked Kinokuniya so all was right with the world. I even managed to get my hands on "Y - the last man book 2". It is such a weird story. I wonder where the heck it is going....
I was even reading it while having a snack at Chili's (the watering hole of choice for drunkards in the area). Fizar was getting sloshed and the rest of us were drinking iced-lemon tea (since we're good little boys and everything ^_^. Not that beer drinkers are evil or anything like that, but that it would feel wrong if I drank beer. Wrong I tell ya!). We got to talking about music and how nothing was really original anymore. It kinda made me sad to think that everything about the music I listen to in the car on the way to college is nothing more than a careful study of demographics and supply and demand. Or am I just being jaded? Ah well...I forgot the point to the story and I'm just rambling right now. It must be because it's 5am...
Rumoku out!
