And there shined a shiny demon...
Rejoice, for I have finally returned! The funny part is that I feel like I never left at all. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about: you go on holiday or an extended trip and when you come back...well, nothing's changed. There is nothing that points out that you were even gone. I came back to my room after a month in a foreign country...and I feel like I've never left. Eh, what to do?
Anyway, the flight was horrendous...as usual. Don't get me wrong, there was nothing really wrong with the aeroplane or the service per se. It was just the blasted waiting. 12 and a half hours of just sitting is unpleasant but 12 hours of sitting and KNOWING that you have nowhere to go is even worse. At least I wasn't coming from America...that would have taken 21 hours -_-. Anyway, the point is: make sure you have something to occupy yourself with if you're gonna be on an uber-long trip. I just thank God that I had the presence of mind to bring a book. Too bad I finished it with 3 hours left. So that only left me with the options of watching movies and eating. And I did both in copious amounts. I watched "Showtime" three times during the flight. It wasn't a great movie, but it wasn't bad either...and it had Eddie Murphy. You gotta love Eddie Murphy.
The most surprising thing about the flight was this: the stewardesses were actually hot this time around! No, really! I just couldn't help but stare. I think they even noticed ^_^.
Anyway...that was the whole flight for me. 12 hours of boredom intermixed with rampant ogling.
